The Man From Taured

On a hot summer day in 1954 Tokyo, Japan, a man lands at an airport, presenting a genuine passport to customs officials from the country of Taured. A country that does not exist. What's stranger, this man had stamps from various countries, and several authentic documents to prove that he was, in fact, from Taured. What's even stranger than all of this, is that this man was held for further questioning in a high security room, with two guards outside the door.

The following morning, when officials went in to question the man further, he had seemingly vanished into thin air. Is this proof of alternate dimensions?
