The video game Polybius appears in a Portland, Oregon arcade in 1981. The game soon disappeared from existence, but not before leaving behind an urban legend. As the story goes, Men in Black(MIB), mind control, seizures, and data collection were all a part of this game's mythic history. Was this an early form of human data produced through "fun" video games?

Polybius had its most recent pop-culture appearance in the Disney+ series Loki, but it has also been a part of the Simpsons universe along with appearing in a NIN music video.
